I focus on US made landline Morse equipment including straight keys, bugs, relays, sounders, and resonators. I particularly enjoy collecting sounders and resonators.
I need parts for White Co. swing arm resonators, particularly the base and arms.
Components from Morse repeater and multiplex systems such as duplex and quadruplex would be welcome additions to my collection. I have a few pieces of repeaters and multiplex systems, but I don't have a complete set of anything. I'm especially interested in the Athearn, Milliken-Hicks, and Weiny-Phillips repeaters.
Also looking for any catalogs showing telegraph equipment, as well as journals devoted to the telegraph profession, especially from the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
I am also looking for books and other publications with information on US landline Morse equipment, operating practices, and stories. Currently I am looking for pre-1990 copies of the Morse Telegraph Publication "Dots and Dashes". Also on my list is "Old Wires and New Waves" by Alvin F. Harlow. "Brass pounders Gossip" and any information on the "National Telegraph Office" and Stuart Davis would be appreciated. Anybody have a copy of "Whistling Cats" ?
The Morse Telegraph Club needs any of the Tandy DCM series of modems, new or used. These are modified for use in "dial-up telegraphy". Please let me know if you have any of these for sale or donation to the club.
